Meet Gabe Garavanian
I’ve been passionate about travel for over 38 years. In 1986, I took a leap and opened Garavanian Travel, Inc., where I had the privilege of helping countless clients create incredible travel memories. After many rewarding years, I sold the business in December 2020 to embrace semi-retirement, though my love for exploring the world hasn’t slowed down.
Over the course of my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively, cruising over 70 times on various cruise lines. Leading groups on both cruises and land-based tours has been a highlight for me, as has my role as a Sandals specialist, helping couples plan their dream destination weddings. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my clients experience the perfect getaway.
During my time as Chapter President of the New England ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors), I had the honor of representing my fellow travel professionals and advocating for the best possible service for travelers.
Today, I continue to follow my passion as an independent contractor with Thomas Hogan Travel in Myrtle Beach, SC. Twice a year, I have the opportunity to host Distinctive Voyages, where I personally lead groups on amazing journeys with major cruise lines. For me, every voyage is an opportunity to share my love of travel and create unforgettable memories for myself and those I’m lucky enough to travel with.
